NCS 5100 series is a premium range of bisphenol A epoxy-based vinyl ester resins, especially formulated by NCS for high-performance and chemically demanding applications.

This vinyl ester series is designed to have improved thermal stability and exhibits excellent mechanical strength and exceptional osmosis and chemical resistance, in addition to good toughness.

The formulation has been optimised to prevent significant gel time drift, which is typically observed with conventional vinyl ester resins. Standard MEK peroxide, such as Butanox M50, and cobalt accelerators can be used to achieve a wide range of cure profiles with a low foaming system and excellent cured colour.

NCS 5100 series is suitable for a wide range of applications such as hand lay-up, spray up, pultrusion, filament winding, casting, as well as floor screeding.
