It effectively separates and breaks down compounds and waxes commonly found on compounded or polished moulds, while also removing previous mould releases and light build-up. As a mild abrasive, Aqua-Clean 521 cleans without scratching the mould surface and can be used with minimal PPE, making it a safer and more cost-effective choice for production environments.

Following the stripping process, XTEND CX-500 serves as a high-performance, solvent-based cleaner that removes excess semi-permanent release, resin residue, styrene build-up. It prepares the mould surface for touch-up or reapplication of semi-permanent release agents. With its slow evaporation rate, XTEND CX-500 maximises product usage and is up to ten times more effective than acetone, offering significant efficiency gains.
