What’s in a name?
AQUAFER® takes its name from:
- “Aqua” – highlighting the range’s water-based foundation.
- “Aquifer” – inspired by natural reservoirs, reflecting AQUAFER® diverse solutions for niche and high-volume needs.
The AQUAFER® Range
Each AQUAFER® product retains its original code, now unified under the AQUAFER® name. AQUAFER® serves sectors from coatings and construction to textiles, adhesives, and specialty markets:
AQUAFER® – Pure Acrylic Dispersions
Ideal for water-based applications, including Roof, Interior and Exterior Wall Paints, Gloss Paints, and more. Also suited for Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives in Vinyl flooring, tapes, and flexible coatings in textiles. It provides the right blend for webbing, strapping, and specialty textile uses.
AQUAFER® – Styrene Acrylic Dispersions
Offers varied Tg and MFFT levels, allowing formulators to select the ideal polymer for specific applications. Ideal for Decorative Paints, Waterproofing, and Construction sectors.
AQUAFER® – Vinyl Acetate Homopolymers
Key in Wood and Packaging Adhesives applications. Available in varied solid contents and viscosities, with water-resistant options.
AQUAFER® – Alkali Swellable Thickeners
Cost-effective solutions that enhance in-can stability and reduce splatter for better application in Coatings and Detergents. Renowned for effective viscosity build and stability in Alkaline Detergents.
AQUAFER® – Polyacrylate Dispersants
Serves the Ceramics, Laundry Detergents, and Decorative Coatings sectors. Available in a range of molecular weights, it keeps slurry viscosities low and offers anti-redeposition and descaling benefits.
